Devils Tower our First National Monument

And is my favorite National Monument. This is where they filmed the movie ‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind’. Plus the KOA campground we stayed in plays the movie everynight and you can see the tower at the same time your watching the movie. It was awesome.

I never get tired of looking at this tower in different views and different times of day. It’s just so photogenic.

We met Mountain Beaches as they have the same Truck and 5th wheel we have and we started chatting and found out they were on their way to South Dakota and were going to pass by Devil Tower. So I told them, not to miss this magnificent monument and we were on our way back there to meet up with our friend, Hector. So they, decide to come and we all met up and had Chili together. Super nice people and so fun to meet up with them.
