Devils Tower At Night

Shining on Devils Tower

Me and my Flashlight at Devils Tower

For the most part I love the way this image turned out. That’s me with the flashlight. I really wanted the Milkyway in it, but wasn’t going to work with this 24mm lens. I just loved how bright Jupiter and Saturn were this summer. You can see them as the brightest stars in the right of this image.

Devils Tower with the Milkyway

I used my 12mm lens and was able to capture both the tower and the Milkyway.

What are those white lights on the Tower?

These climbers with lights on their helmets are making their way up to the top at night. Very interesting to watch. They did this every night we were there. Plus what a great shot of Neowise, the comet in the same photo.

Neowise the Comet

Neowise Comet Falls from the sky in a field by Devils Tower.

After I was done, taking photos of the milky way and tower, I turned around and there was Neowise the comet in the field in back of us. Wow, what a spectular night.

Crazy Lightning Storm over Devils Tower

Lightning over Devils Tower // WY

Crazy Lightning Storm over Devils Tower from our campsite. What a spectacular site. We had lighning, wind, rain and hail. So exciting. And I was able to capture some lighning bolts.
