Fort Pickens Florida

Fort Pickens is on Santa Rosa Island near Pensacola Florida. The campground was great with a good bike trail. We explored the fort, went to the beach and rode bikes. Our next destination is Destin Florida (we got shots there). Currently (05/31/21) we are in Key West, so we’re behind as usual. Fort Pickens was so fun to explore. The drive to the campground had sand on each side of the road and was pretty. There’s a LOT of birds in the area including the Osprey. We talked to a ranger a long time and ate at Peg Leg Petes (really good seafood).
